In 1985, Marty McFly, a teenager, visits Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown’s lab but finds he's not there. Marty accidentally blows up a giant speaker while testing his guitar. Doc calls Marty to meet him at the Twin Pines Mall parking lot that night. Marty is late for school and gets detention. He meets his girlfriend Jennifer an later Marty meets Doc and he reveals a time machine built out of a DeLorean, powered by plutonium and the flux capacitor, that makes time travel possible. Doc sends Einstein, his dog, one minute into the future. The plutonium was stolen from Libyan terrorists, who suddenly show up and shoot Doc. Marty escapes in the DeLorean and accidentally activates the time circuits, transporting himself to November 5, 1955, without any plutonium to return home. Will Marty find any plutonium to return to the future?
In conclusion, Back to the Future is definitely a movie I would recommend because it has an original and super creative story that mixes science fiction, humor, and adventure. The time travel concept is really well done, and even though it was made in the 80s, the special effects and the plot still hold up today. It's one of those movies that makes you think about the choices we make and how they could affect the future. For all those reasons, I think Back to the Future it's a movie that still feels fresh and is great for any age.
